Did You Know : Christina Milian Ruined her own career

I’ve always said Christina Milian was suppose to be Rihanna, and she was, but she doesn’t listen.
Did you know that Christina Passed up Rihanna’s “Unfaithful” and “SOS” as well as Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable.” Yup, many don’t know but Irreplaceable was suppose to be Christina’s song but just like the aforementioned songs she passed them up. All number one hits that she turned down.
So question is do you think had Christina taken these songs and not pussy footed around with The Dream would she be the star Rihanna is? Or hell even Ciara?

Unfaithful: “actually that song was never ever pitched to me. another song called “i” which i actually was in LOVE with but it didnt really fit the sound of the album. i was gonna save it for the next one but ater the split they got the record back and it’s going to be one of Mario’s singles. it’s beautiful. if u read some rihanna interviews she says she told NeYo the idea and he wrote the song based on that. i gotta page mr.neyo haha and talk to him bout that one. seems he’s might have forgotten…” That last line is in regard to NeYo actually starting the rumor.
Either way, I love the girl and agree that she could’ve been bigger than Rihanna, but she always makes more single choices. Leaving people uninterested.
I like Milian but I’m going to say NOPE only because she isn’t even sure what she wants. She was running around here producer to producer for tracks & these hits were in her freakin’ face. She doesn’t deserve it. She messed up after “Between Me & You” as well.
I feel like Christina is more talented and a better performer than rihanna, and shes just as pretty. Im just sad we got stuck with rihanna and not christina lol
Christina definitely would have been a nice model for Rih’s glam squad to work on….could have been a real fashionista. And she definitely isn’t stiff *remembers “Am to Pm” Sisqo-like breakdown* lol I don’t think she’ll ever recover. I think she will be one of those artists who’s just around like Mya,etc until a miracle happens.
The Artist make the song not vice versa……a quick hit then what? nada, gotta have that IT factor
I always like Christina and all of those movies she played in…And I loved AM to PM and Say I….I wish her all the best I know she wrote a song for jhoe called Play so maybe she should stick to song writing thats where the money is just ask Neyo
It’s funny that she mentions unfaithful was never offered to her, I heard it was actually offered to megan rochell. Wow, i guess tracks just circulate around the record label or something which leaves us to question the originality of these artists.
