It’s floetic y’all!!

What y’all know about that? Ugh Floetry was such a breath of fresh air in the industry. It was so different and honestly today we could use something like this.

Sadly in 2007 the soulful duo went their separate ways and pursued solo careers. But now Floetry see’s fit to return. Well kind of sorta.

Natalie Stewart, who was the lyricist of the group is planning to bring the group back, but without the vocalist Marsha.

Singersoom.com has the scoop!

The Floacist, real name Natalie Stewart, one half of the platinum selling group Floetry, is reviving the group. The poetic rapper has joined forces with Julie Dexter under the moniker ‘Floetry Re:Birth’ and plans to perform for the first time in the United States at Vail Soul Music Fest.

After releasing two albums, Floetic and Flo’Ology, and the live disc Floacism, Natalie Stewart and Marsha Ambrosius parted ways in 2007.

In the past, MTV host and artist Amanda Diva traded roles with Stewart performing with Marsha Ambrosius. Both original members have released solo projects since their split.

Natalie Stewart & Julie Dexter will performance on stage in the majestic mountains of Vail, Colorado on August 17, 2012

Well I guess something is better than nothing right?
